Just keep in mind that they havent added in most of their web results yet - mostly just docs and db results right now - and still way in beta - although it looks pretty cheesy right now

It looks like a rip off of Google.
Microsoft does well ripping off things and then selling it cheaper, kind of like the designer knock-offs at the flea market. In this case Google is free so what advantage does Microsoft have? Then again most computer users are so stupid that they will not even notice that the search icon on their Windows desktop/Start Menu/Browser toolbar is for Microsoft's and not the real Google. ![]() |

It was funny to watch Yusuf Mehdi on MSNBC today.
The guy came off as a deer caught in headlights IMO. "How do you expect to compete with Google and Yahoo?" I am pretty sure he said, "Blah blah blah, our software, blah blah, blah....................................." "With MSN Search being built in to your operating system do you think it will make the DOJ take a look at that advantage?" "Well, people can access it from anywhere on the Internet and blah blah blah." "How will you increase your market share of the search engine market?" "Uh.......focusing on our software which we rolled out today blah blah,.........Um...blah." I think ill zaps him with a tazer gun if he says anything of actual value. ![]() |

Yahoo does a lot of branding. Google will have commercials too soon. Who knows...it is very early, but there is an msndude on webmasterworld and a direct link for feedback from SEO's. They want feedback from people who are paid to manipulate their results. ![]() |

Looks like theyve given the regular MSN search a facelift - looks like they took Googles home page and changed some icons/graphics
