Morning

Greenie are up and just about ready for our BIG Texas Hold-Em tournament at our local casino. We tried to get prepared yesterday by playing with real money online and lost all of it

But, we are ready...

I have no idea how long this will last or when we will be back. But, since the tournament starts at 11 AM, we should be back by noon if we play the way we played yesterday

Good Morning Folks

I'm leaving to check out a new restaurant in a few minutes. If I buy it that will make a different restaurant of mine to eat in every day for over a month...instead 500lbs I'll probably be 600lbs by Miami.

I should be here on and off the rest of the day. If MrMaryLou holds on the bench today I should be able to attend.

Good morning from hot and humid south Florida.

I have blisters on my fingers… fixed Carlos's home yesterday. One of these projects that once you get about half way through you wonder what the fuck you were thinking. Carlos is a Blue & Gold macaw who lives in a 8'x 4'x 6' aviary that is built on top of my deck in my backyard. The wood had rotted under his cage so I had to take the cage all apart and replace the wood and then reassemble the cage. Right in the middle of this a big thunder storm moved in just to make the whole project a bit more fun, not.

I have no idea what I will be doing today. Something relaxing that doesn't involve power tools or anything.

Good afternoon peoples

Well, a "real" No Limit Texas Hold'em tournament is very, very different from the ones that I've played online or at people's houses. 152 total entered - I got knocked out about 75 minutes into it & have no idea what place I came in. Jim, on the other hand, did rather well & ended up in 25th. Of course, we won the same amount of money - ZERO - but it was really cool to play in a legit tournament
