Q re templates

Hi everyone...

I was just starting a site & noticed that I tend to do my index pages pretty much all the same way...title, ad, warning, recips, enter -I like that layout & it works for me.

I generally mix up the gallery pages so they are different layouts etc for each site, I do them from scratch so I don't really think they look too much the same.

my q is that if I keep doing the index pages the same is that going to cause me problems with the template rules at LLs?

I build my sites like that too, I also list alot sites for people who have standard lay out for recip codes.

My view is that the so long as the recip is correct and reflects what you are submitting thats cool - Keep above the enter link
and you should be laughing

The warning page is the one that reviewers see 1st, so it sticks in our heads more than the others (for me anyway)

I'd start moving stuff around:
title, ad, warning, recips, enter
ad, title, warning, recips, enter
title, ad, recips, warning, enter
ad, title, recips, warning, enter

& try using some tables - a vert ad next to the warning, small ads on the sides of the title, etc

If you were looking for a new house & they all looked the same from the outside, you'd eventually get tired of looking at the insides.

This is my favorite layout:
ad,ad, warning,ad, recips, ad that looks like enter, ad, enter, ad, ad, ad.

I'm glad this was asked. I never really considered the point GreenGuy made about the index being what may stick with a reviewer the most. I always toss my recips around in their table, but that's cause I don't want it to look like I'm favoring certain lists over the others.
