onmouseover question
Do onmouseover increase clickthroughs and sales? I´ve seen that link-o-rama only uses onmouseover on their sponsor links.
It seems less suspect to click on a link that ends with .com and not ?id=192184 I just wonder.. |goodnight |

No offence Apu, but when they were handing out religions you must have been out taking a whizz

How about links list? onmouseovers allowed/not allowed?
I remember back a year or so ago they were accepted, don't know if it's changed much.

Osiris - I havent seen any that wont take them as long as they are formatted correctly and used just for the sponsor code

Good deal, I'll be using them on my sites. I'm still building up a nice submit list and I haven't submitted to anyone in a little while.

Has anyone noticed that SP2 ignores mouseovers and lets the true URL appear? Or that just my settings? I use Firefox, which doesn't show a damned thing when mouseovers are in use anyway. But when I test my sites with IE6 before submitting them, the mouseovers don't work and my browser beeps. I just stopped using mouseovers because of that. Which is shame, cause I love them.

If there is nobody out there, that's a lot of real estate going to waste!

Personally I use a PHP redirect to send to the sponsor site so that the surfer sees only something like mydomain.com/hot-teens/
That way I can also fine tune the actual sponsor URL regarding PPS/Revshare, tour#, etc. And it lets you use generic text on your page like CLICK HERE FOR HOT TEENS and then send them to your best converting sponsor at the time. |

I like the redirect idea but really would only use it on internal pages. My thinking is that the generic text link on a site submitted has more of a chance of getting declined for being a "blind link". Any thoughts from other link site owners? But it is a great method for maintaining control of traffic! Like anything you just have to use it wisely.
