Morning all from the land of sand and sunshine.

I've got the wall and ceiling texture people coming today to do the last two rooms of my house. I've also got a bunch of phone calls to make including finding out why my bank put a hold on my insurance check.

A woman who I used to date came over last night for a visit and to see what I've done to my house. She hated my bedroom and said it was too girly. Just proves that you should not have a lesbian do your decorating. lol

I should be around all day trapped in my house by contractors.

I think I'm only saying that because I'm coming down with a bad cold - not flu like yet, but I do have that wonderful sickness taste in my mouth

I too will be surrounded by contractors today - getting 7 new windows put in the house (the current ones are original which means they are 45 years old or so)

Gotta love a contractor that takes cash

I just had one of my clients come by with two 10 year old Mac laptops, one with the power connector broken off from the back.

I told them on the phone that they were trash, I told them in person that they were trash. I walked over to my trash can and threw them in the trash. He took them out of my trash and took them with him still insisting that they were perfectly good.

These things weight like 8 ponds a piece and only have 64 megs of RAM. They are so old that they will not even run Mac OS X so the only place that you can even get software is like on Ebay. LOL

He left still bitching that I should be able to make them like new.

The man and his boyfriend own millions of dollars in real estate, two Corvettes, a few SUVs, a few decked out big pickup trucks, and lots of other toys. I think he can afford to buy two new Mac laptops for himself and his partner.
