What archive format do you think is the best?
Both for reading and SE purposes.
/blog/page1.html, /blog/page2.html, /blog/page3.html,...... with x amount of posts on each page or filed under year and month /blog/2005 - links to each month /blog/2005/04 - all posts from that month + links to each posts /blog/2005/04/my_useless_post.html - the individual post Most of the blogs I've looked at has the first one, but I kind of like the last one more. What do you think? |

A woman is like beer. They look good, they smell good, and you'd step over your own mother just to get one!

Mine works out like this:
the archive page is monthly, 99 entries per page (which fits the entire month mostly) http://www.boogie-blog.com/2005/04/ then each individual link links to the oriiginal file: http://www.boogie-blog.com/3-brand-n...-galleries.htm I believe that internal linking structure is important and having multiple internal links to the same page is key. ![]() Which is also why I use the 'breadcrumbs' plugin on every page. |
