I'm selling my Content Store

http://www.planetcontent.com is for sale for anyone interested please ICQ me 150395457. This could be a good opportunity for someone getting into or wanting to get into the content business. A lot of the competition has gone belly up due to all the new 2257 regs. All my content is 2257 compliant. The store holds 52 zip sets of quality pics.

Included in the purchase:
Domain name transfer of ownership.
All graphics, banners, buttons, etc.
Exclusive ownership rights to all the content.
All original 2257 docs. Original ID's and model releases.

The reason for the sell is because i finally realized that i am spreading myself too thin. I do web design part time, generate traffic, shoot content for my paysite that I run prettylilpanties.com, own cashmoneyclicks.com and also own a retail business and there are only 24 fucking hours in a day so I decided the best thing to do right now is to sell the content store. Hopefully someone can give it more time and attention =]

Don't you think that $4500 is a lot to ask for 53 sets on non-exclusive content and a site built on a free template script? That's almost $90 a set, and even if the new owner can sell each site 10 times for $9 to recoup their loss, it seems a bit like a waste of time. If you've been selling those pics all over the place since 2003, I just can't imagine them being worth very much to anyone. I'd just cut your losses or give them to affiliates to build free sites with, since I imagine the images are all over the net anyhow.

wow..... ok before you go way ahead of yourself. the price is good... You are paying not only for the content that is EXCLUSIVE to me by the way (you are purchasing the rights to resell) but also for the good will and customer base... Over 3000 emails of webmasters that have purchased from me in the past... The site is also linked up from every adult webmaster resource website around and has been in webmaster bookmarks for years, hence this adds value... I don't think that this is a bad price at all.

First, even it you're the only one *selling* the content, if it has been *bought* by lots of different adult webmasters, it's not exclusive content in my book. From what I've seen, non-exclusive generic porn images usually go for a lot less than $90 a set, less than $9, even. I know, I know, you're selling the rights to resell the photos again, but it still seems steep to me. In my mind, content is like an email list: when you sell it to tons of people, it loses all value.

Secondly, and although I really don't care to debate it to death, I've never heard of you, and you're not listed on YNOT, here, or at Xbiz. I would consider those three to be pretty big sites, so which part of bragging about being linked by "every adult webmaster resource website around" did you mean, exactly? It's such an easily debunked claim.

I don't pick on everyone, but your post was just too easy, and it was spammed in the main forum for me to notice while I looked for real "general business knowledge."

I've sent a couple of emails asking about those docs but I've never gotten a responce. How does a former customer get a copy and of course once I do I'll be interested in more content.
