Rules Changes on my Blog Directories

XXX Blog Index and Porn Blog Surfer will no longer accept any sites using free hosts.

After spending the good part of the weekend going through Porn Blog Surfer, I discovered something that I just can't go along with.

It seems that when an adult free host terminates an account, the page they put up not only explains that the site has been terminated but also contains advertisements for the program of their choice.

I have no problem with terminating the account of someone who has violated their TOS. My problem is with adding the advertisement to the page and not at least carrying the original links that were on the site.

To my way of thinking, adding the advertisement makes it a commercial page and not returning the recipricol link no different than if the person who originally had set up the site had removed my link. I would black list that person so I see no choice than to ban all free hosted blogs since I can not determine which ones follow the TOS of the free host.

Those that I have already accepted will stay in my directories for as long as they carry my recip.

And Im sure as with most freebies it gets abused often. Sorry to hear it ruins it for the "good" guys, but ya gotta do wahts best for you and yours Walrus indeed

Never trust anything that claims to be "free" - they make their money somehow and it's often at someone else's expense.

If it's "free" find out how they do it before jumping on the wagon - else you end up under it.

And webmasters wonder why many places do not accept free hosted anything.

Guess to me, if they can't pony up a few bucks for a domain and hosting, they are not serious enough in the first place.
