Best Converting Gallery Designs

Looking for examples of webmasters best converting free site gallerys. I have been having better conversions myself using banners and text together. The gallerys I use just banners on with no text convert terribly.

Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless

Honestly it might be better if you post links to some of your own designs and let people critique them rather than ask them to post theirs...while a lot of people like to share tips on how to improve galleries etc, they don't necessarily like to show samples of what is working for them and they have good reasons for feeling that way.

RE - "The galleries I use just banners on with no text convert terribly."

Yup, that has got to be rule number 1. And if you know what you are doing text alone can sell better than text and banner. The best idea is to make the surfer think it is a recommendation not an ad. A basic example is rather than say "The largest video site on the net" say "I have found site that has the most videos I have ever seen on any one site" (actually that is lousy copy, it is only meant as an example of the sort of thing you should do, not something you should use exactly).

To tell you everything I know would take a couple of days typing, and that is just what I know, if everyone here added what they knew this thread would probably run to over a hundred pages. Your best bet it to pop across to Amazon, or a similar site, and get yourself a few books on advertising and copywriting.

I always say that there is no one way of building galleries. you have to find the best gallery style to match your traffic

I have posted a couple of my older galleries in different threads. Basically learn the niche and the sponsor tour and be creative.
