Trying is the first step towards failure

![]() Have anyone used traffic blazer ( http://www.starfieldtech.com/produc...ffic_blazer.htm ) or similar programs for some help with your SE listing? I rarely hear anything about these programs, or some people post that they can do a better job themself and that pretty much ends the discussion lol
I was considering trying them out for a new non-adult site but wouldn't know how to track their results vs what I would have gotten on my own... Any feedback would be appreciated ![]()

You will be hard pressed to find anyone here who will say anything other than, "You can do as better job of it yourself, for less money...".
If you can afford to spend the money just for the experiment, and the domain in question isn't a critical one, arguably the learning experience would be worth it, wether or not they can increase your traffic. But I would never do it, and I regard all those companies as scams. And never do something like that with an important domain. |

kamilla - there are plenty of free programs out there that will do the analysis part that the software does - the submit part is kinda useless looking at the list of SEs as most of those are feeds off of Google and DMOZ - 3 or 4 submissions done by hand or a few links into your sites would accomplish the same thing - and not run the risk of getting banned because of autosubmiting. I didnt go through the whole SW package but if it has any sort of status checking that automatically makes calls to the SE databases, those tend to violate Googles and others TOS and they frown on them
