refused to pay

I had been promoting FreeEzineBucks for about two years through my LL, because the LL was new it took about that long to get the required 200 signups in order to expect a check. Just a side note; Canadian webmasters need twice as many as US, guess that extra 20 cents postage is a big deal. Two months of waiting then I emailed about why it never arrived, after about a week I was told it had been mailed but if I wanted to pay the stop payment they would send out another. The address they have is correct and in 3 years I've never had a check go missing. With only a few weeks to go before the 90 day void on the missing check I opted to just wait rather then pay to get paid. Around this time they also decreased payments by 25%. About 2 days to go to that 90 days I go to check stats and find my account had been closed. They reply that someone signed up for the same ezine more then once using the same IP. After years and days away from waiting for a payment; like I would be so stupid. Plus I only have their word on this as I can't even check stats. So I say fine just send the check now due and keep the $40-$50 earned since. I wait 2 weeks, no payment, send email and get back the reply "we are not paying him anything" quoted from a Rafi, although not directly sent to me by him. So I warn you not to promote freeezinebucks, ticketcash, or lovercash as they don't pay their webmasters.

I kept all correspondence from them and will back this up to anyone wishing to see it.

I usually dont post much as I stay behind the scenes. But I have looked into your account as well and there was a lot of suspicious activity going on.

We pay out hundreds of thousands every month to thousands of webmasters. $200 is nothing to us, but if I notice a lot of wierd patterns happening on any webmasters traffic we will not pay it out as our margins are just to slim in the email game.

Feel free to ICQ me directly at 197505728 and I will give you the reasons we terminated you, as there was more than 1 red flag that popped up on our fraud report with your account.

an update for anyone interested;

Mr. Hawg has said he will honor the payment.

The red flags he speaks of concerns surfers often signing up for 2 or 3 ezines at the same time. Considering that I advertised in blocks of 3 on free and AVS sites that I built, this is an understandable trend. I wish that if this sponsor had a problem with sign ups from me that they had emailed to ask if there was a reasonable answer rather then waiting until time to pay up and then closing my account. That way I could have changed advertising to better suit their wishes.

In the 3 1/2 years I've been an adult webmaster and dealt with easily over 40 sponsors plus my own paysites I have never had a sponsor unhappy with my sales to them or even a single charge back.

I can only hope that this sponsor considers opening a dialog first next time rather then treating an affiliate of over 2 years this way.

Uhm.. how about this (I copied this from FAQ today so even the $ are not to date...)

If I use an FPA and 1 surfers joins 3 different ezines do I get $1 or $3??

We pay you for ALL 3 signups, thus you get $3. I am pretty sure there is NO OTHER 4free program who pays this. They will only pay you on ONE of the signups and they always try to trick you into using their FPA's so they can keep the extra signups! Don't be fooled by that tactic anymore. Send to someone who respects and pays on all confirmed signups!

BossHawg, I wish you don't mind if I ICQ you to ask if my account is not flagged.. I don't promote FEB too actively but I would rather know...

Bosshawg looks like he acted fairly, and gave plenty of respect to a webmaster who has earned under $10 per month for 2 years...

I hope people passing through notice that.. even if wesley didn't appreciate it ;-)

"respect" etc should never be based on how much is earned! Not only is it unfair it's bad business.

They got deal - I think wesley don't have to appreciate that he got what he was owed.
In my opinion that should be common..

I've seen this guy look after unhappy people in the same way, in private, without being called out in a forum called "possible cheaters". World peace should be common too, but it aint I'm afraid

My point was he IS fair... and he does act with respect to his webmasters, even if they look like no chance of turning a decent profit for him. It's not just PR. In a business where this is uncommon... The Hawg's have proven themselves to genuinely act like this more than once to me.

Have you got a problem with the program Mateusz? Your earlier post looked like you might be suggesting some other problem? I'm prepared to be re-educated if I don't know soemthing you do.. but from what I know, I'd personally recommend these guys.. and don't do that lightly.

I have to agree Hawg behaved like non numerous would, but I will still keep my opion that paying webmasters (who follow all rules) should be common - saying: others don't do I will neither isn't the right way....

ps. I got only ONE page promoting FEB and don't really care about traffic there so I earn few bucks/ month as wesley did

I've been out of town for a week so haven't been following this, sorry.

To start the check Mr. Hawg said he would send out 2 weeks ago has not as yet arrived.

Opti I did try for months to get this missing payment from them, it was only after the 90 day void period for the missing check plus 2 weeks had gone by that they even mentioned they had issues with how the sign ups had been coming in, and refused to pay even the check that was suppose to have been sent 3 months prior. I never spoke to Mr. Hawg in any correspondence with that company but with a representative, and the person who made the finial decision not to pay never cotacted me directly.

You sure would think if I had been cheating them I would have been getting more then $10 a month, wouldn't you?

Thanks Mateusz and DD for the posts I was starting to think no one on here understood what the true issue was. I hadn't started this in hopes of getting paid from bitching but to state in my opion I had gotten a raw deal and a major run around.
