Reliable Hosts - know any?

Hey Everyone...

I don't know if you are all aware of this or not, but I have been having a very tough time with my host lately. I'll be brutally honest: my sites have been going down far too many times and frankly, I am sick and fucking tired of it!

So, I have gone over the resources here at GG&J's and while many look enticing enough, its like looking for (GG: some of these guys are no longer in business and so choose not to respond to emails) a needle in a haystack.

Rather than try to re-invent the wheel, I just thought I would ask you all what host would you reccomend, what would you stay away from, best packages, worst packages, you know, that sort of thing.

When I asked this question they popped up.

National Net never responded to my requests regarding Virtual Hosting.

I know they're well regarded but don't seem too interested unless you want a dedicated box...just based on my limited experience with them.

I went with protgp.com and have been very impressed.
