Acacia´s european patents are not inforced, because Acacia do not have the resources to fight in Europe, and its also very lickly that the patents are invalid, since the EU voted for new EU patent laws in September 2003, which makes patents like Acacia´s invalid.

Most of us Europeans rely on North America for quality hosting and credit card processors. I presume that we would come under any rulings in the country where any site is hosted?

Well no need to move to europe. Atleast the countries that are part of the Europian Union.

You can put your clock to it that we (EU) are getting this shit in a year or 2 after it started rolling in the US. Really, once they find out howmuch the US is making out of this and howmuch they are missing out, they aint that dumb

No, moving to europian union countries is a bad idea. Move to europian countries outside it, and that do not wish to join it in the near future. Much better.
