Free Hosting offered by sponsors- do you use it?

I don’t see as many sponsors offering free hosting for their affiliates these days, to me this would be a main feature sponsors would advertise.

Is there still a demand for free hosting where you can only promote the sites of the sponsor offering it?

Hosting is cheap these days. Best to have total control over what you want to promote on your pages, 404 page, etc.

True that is cleo but when ya post movie galleries or sites that blow off 400 gigs real quick I don't think 404 traffic will make that back or even close to making back what was saved on BW costs.

Yes I use it I used two domains I had no real use for yet so I use them to post movie galleries so far I think i saved over 1200 gigs of BW so roughly 100 bucks or more.

I'm not the greatest on Hotlink protection for movies thats why i chose to use a host spons for it I posted 2 galleries a while back they got hotlinked and damn 4000 gigs real quick for nothin SO now less headaches for me.

Sure I find 1 or 2 TGP's that have the nameserver blocked because its hosted by sponsor but in the long run they get listed most everwhere SO FAR That is

and hosting keeps getting cheaper and cheaper - don't forget to ask for special deals

hosting packages nowadays are soo cheap so better get your own hosting and use it.

I ban free and sponsor hosting. It's not that I don't trust sponsor hosting, I just believe that there are things that you should have to pay for to be taken seriously in this industry. Hosting is one of them. Sex is another.

If you can't afford your own hosting bill, you are doing something wrong. That means you are not making enough sales, which means your sponsor will not make money off you either and they have to cover the hosting bill from somewhere else. Where?

Hosting is dirt cheap, even if the bw price would go up 4x.

Well alot more will prolly go to spons hosting as I just read verio, cogent, etc.... BW costs are supposed to Go up 4 times what they are now

UW, How do you know if the galleries/freesites are sponsor hosted, if the sponsor allows the affiliate to use their own domain.

Nameservers and IPs. Eventually we figure out who has which.
