Sponsor question

I have asked about sponsors before when I first got started just building free sites and tgp's. Now that I have a link list sponsors with hosted free sites are really in need. Is it wrong to sign up with too many sponsors for this reason? I have 8 now and am still looking for more. I'm just wondering if having lots of sponsors will hinder sales? But it's nice having lots of sponsors hosted free sites with my id in them. Any opinions on this? Thanks.....

Hey Sue,

I'm signed up with over 40 sponsors, and I add a new one at least once a month. The only hindrance you'll find is that it may take quite a while to build up enough sales to get a check with some of them, but IMO variety is key with a link list. I've got a page with some of the HFS sponsors I use that actually convert for me HERE

The links on that page have my ref code in them, but the page is there for information as well so don't feel obligated to sign up under me Those are the programs that do the best for me with HFS.

just because you are signed up to sponsors doesn't mean you have to use them... check out Chop's site it will really help you keep track of your HFS HFS Links he has everything organized so that you don't have to do it yourself

I'm signed up to 350+ programs - as long as you can keep decent track of things (which is a HUGE pain in the ass) you'll be fine

I send traffic to 50+ programs. Lost track of how many I've actually signed up for and never promoted for one reason or another. One in particular looked really good til I got into their webmaster admin and realized it had to be the most webmaster unfriendly site I'd ever seen...VERY poorly designed from a usability standpoint.

Statsremote helps a bunch in keeping track of multiple sponsors. Especially once you get over a dozen or two...SR saves a ton of time for those that just gotta keep track of the $$$

Thanks for all the info! Geez I was worried about having 8 sponsors, and look at how many you all have. This is great to know though it sure will help my link list!

Greenguy 350 wow it would take me all week just to check stats

Mad Max thanks for the link, and of course if I like them i'd use your ref code. I'd rather help someone make some $$ than just sign up for them on my own.

Thanks all!

I agree with max. As he mentioned, it will be harder to get enough sales to make the minimum payout and you could spread your hits out too thin, to thin to make sales.

I wouldn't be concerned to how many sponsors you sign up - just go for those you like and think they might sell. if you have sent a nice amount of traffic to some of them and they don't convert replace them with another one - with the time you will get a bunch of sponsors that work best for you, and those will be the ones you'll have to start prmoting heavily
