phpadsnew error

A fatal error occurred

phpAdsNew can't connect to the database. Because of this it isn't possible to use the administrator interface. The delivery of banners might also be affected. Possible reasons for the problem are:
The database server isn't functioning at the moment
The location of the database server has changed
The username or password used to contact the database server are not correct

WTF? Any ideas?

If you haven't made any changes, it sounds like the mySQL server has crashed and requires a reboot.

Just wanted to point out that a vulnerability has been found in phpadsnew (and many other scripts using the XML-RPC implementation) a few days ago. You might want to patch it out if you're using that script.
