Talking Revisiting some old tunes

One of the nice things about getting older is revisting some old tunes you might have listened to 20 years ago. I just listened to Kansas, "Carry On Warward Son" and "Dust in the Wind". Last night I heard "You're no Good" by Linda Ronstadt and Dead And Alive, "You Spin Me Right Round". Listening to Eurythmics "Sweet Things" which you can hear daily I would imagine on the radio.
Gotta love music

Nice GunnCat!! There is a commerical on tv now, can't remember what they are selling though. The background music is Dust In The Wind. I always loved that song, it brought back nice memories. Good choice of music... Another good point to getting "older"!

It's a commercial for a Subaru SUV. Cool commercial. I like the end of it with the suv's on the auto transport turning to dust.

With my cable and I'm sure a lot of others also. They have this channel that shows the older bands playing concerts. Boy they sure look a lot differnet then when I saw them 20-25 years ago! But I still love the music. The last band we watched was Iron Butterfly! They played In Da Garda Divta (I know for a fact I spelled that wrong) it was great!! My daughter was like "my god this is so long and boring!!" If you know that song chances are you were like we were when we used to listen to it. We explained to our daughter in one word "drugs"

Listening to Rod Stewart's greatest hits right now. Some Billy Idol, the Band, Nick Drake, and Bad Company have also been making their rounds in my player. Most of this was produced 10 or 20 years before I was born but since the stuff being released as of late is garbage I have to dig back a few years for the good stuff =)

I saw some people in the grocery store that were 'kind'. I Had to just stop and take a look. 10 years since Jerry died. Hard to believe times gone by that fast!
