email mess marketing question

Hi everyone

Does anyone know how to properly market through mess email ?
Not just spaming the hell out of everyone but really doing it right.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would ver very interested to listen.

You set up a website & have surfers double opt in (the put in their email addy, they get mailed a confirmation link & then click on that)

That's the legit way as far as I know - other methods are a mess

In order to get people to "opt in" you must, of course, be offering to email them something with a perceived value.

I have used Aweber for the last two years their only twenty bucks a month for an unlimited account with some decent tracking features, they are in constant contact with AOL and MSN so the emails go through and you don't get the bullshit spam complaints from AOL (all an AOL member has to do is push a button and you have a spam complaint) get a few of those and you risk getting your URL black listed.
