Anyone ever counted the clickthrough ratio of topline ads like the ones both blogger and thumblogger have?

I got some conventional sites I brand with a floating Ad bar that has google ads on and that gets about 12% of the surfers clicking on it. different I know but its the only nearly similar thing I have.
