Gallery Images

Should gallery images be on their own page when clicked on a gallery or is it ok to link the thumb directly to the image (so that the image just opens and not a new page w/ the image in that page)?

Does it matter which to do?

p.s. Should this be in the Newbie section or is it ok in here?

That one of those "read the rules" kinda things - some place will let you put the pics on html pages (with a oimit on the numbers of ads on the page) & some don't allow pics on html pages at all.

I do allow them, but rarely see them anymore.
