Hello again everyone! I have been working hard on freesites. I noticed GG new porn movie links so I made freesite with only movies. Can you all tell me if you think this site will get acceped? Do you think it is any good? I am just trying to wrap my brain around it all. Thank you guys!

One problem that I see is that on the gallery pages, it appears that there are 4 movies, but only 2 are movies & the other 2 are pretty much blind links, even with the text underneath them.

Also, is it just me, or does the 2nd gallery start way down the page?

Just a head's up, I see your submits for this site in the Porn Movie Links admin & since they are the last one's in there, I'll leave them until to review again (maybe tomorrow, but probably Monday) in case you want to fix things up a bit

Yup, those 2 links on the galleries do feel pretty blind.

I don't see that on the 2nd gallery Greenie...looks ok here.

I'm seeing the same thing as GG on the second gallery.
Looking at the code, I'm actually surprised the pages show as well as they do.

Thanks GG and everyone else! Having never really made a video freesite, and only 1 other freesite before. I took a look at all the sites already listed on pornmovielinks to see what is kosher and what is not, then designed my own galleries. There were many with the same 4 movie layout - 2 movie thumbs being clickable and 2 not clickable with a link under them. I guess that the galleries already listed like that are special sponsors or something. I will try and clean up the code, remove the other movie thumbs and resubmit. Thank you for your time! ALOHA

I know EXACTLY which listing(s) you were looking at & they are Hosted Free Sites that I listed knowing that I was bending my own rules. The Porn Movie Links site is new & I need to add as many links as possible to fill up categories & keep the surfers interested. I'm letting a lot of little things slide on there...for now. Once things get to where I want them, a lot of those borderline HFS links will just suddenly vanish

But you should have seen the HFS's from that sponsor that I didn't list

Here's a good rule of thumb when your clicking links & looking for examples of acceptable free sites: ignore the ones that don't have ANY recips on them

You wanted your paysite listed on Link-O-Rama. Greenguy bend his rule of calling for new sponsors, signed up for your affiliate program and will get compensated if he sends you a sale via the listing of your paysite. Most likely those without those without a recip are hosted free sites and the link lists share in the revenue generated from their traffic. However, it could be that the link list owner built the site to promote the sponsor.

Many sites had the same "blind links" I was accused of having. Isn't a blind link a thumb or text link that tricks the surfer and goes somewhere else? I had a thumb with no link on it at all, and a text link under it that goes to our site. Is that a blind link?

If GG says that it is blind, the sucker will never see light and probably never be listed on Link-O-Rama.

I agree with you, "A blind link is one that takes a surfer to some destination other than where he expected." Is it a judgment call? Somewhat but the call is the link list owner because it is you who is asking to share his traffic. Max will tell you that ole Chop takes pride in the success of folks that he helped along the way. So I am going to spank you in public a bit and hope it will help some that follow you. At 11:15 PM you asked if the site is acceptable? At 6:05 AM, Greenguy posts about the blind links. At 8:15 AM, GG discovers that the site has been submitted but he will give you a chance to correct it to his standards. I am sure that he was in a good mood, realizes how hard you are working to get this right and how anxious you are to get listed. Otherwise, in my opinion, he or MML would just have hit the delete key and ignored your thread. My point is be patient and consider time zones when asking for help on the board.

And I think the site looks good. If I had a link list, I would list it if you increased the font size for the text on the gallery pages so old folks could read it.

I know everyone here is helping me! I certainly am not trying to impose my will on the board or anything. It's just with a recip for each niche, or not a recip for a HFS or a sponsor gallery, what is a blind link and what isn't etc.. has my head doing circles

Your point is great - HFS and freesites that you submit are two different things, got it. I just fixed that freesite I did. Made it much more simple and nothing what so ever that could ever be seen as a blind link.

Im not sure what I did to make you think I dont take the time zones into consideration. I always do! I absolutely dont expect anything from anyone! All the help GG, you, and everyone else has provided has been invaluable and appreciated. I just want the effort of getting into all this to pay off and make sense in my marketing agenda. I realize after a little over a year, that I can spend months working on something, and see little to no results unless I do it correctly.

I was just confused by all the sites already listed that had all the things that GG was saying he wouldnt list mine for. I still tried to build my site to the rules of each LL.

Lauren and I just had a talk. We are going to crank it out. One of the things that is very cool for me, is that Lauren is a bonifide webmaster too. So we do everything together. That also makes for a slower learning curve, since we both try and understand it all completely. We are really excited! Lets see how long it takes to get to 50!

Back to the 1st post, since I just got into my admin to review & noticed a couple of things:

1 - The title of the Free Site you submitted is "Amateur Anal Slut Lauren" but the title that you submitted via my form is "Lauren Sands" You need to put the site's title in the "title" area on the submit page.

2 - "Amateur Anal Slut Lauren" is a horrible title, since there's no anal on the site at all.

3 - You can put more text/ads on the main & gallery pages. They are very empty. Take advantage of that space with some marketing text, explaining the movies, links to the paysite, etc.

4 - This one might sound anal, but the background on the 1st page is much darker than the other 3 pages.

I'm gonna reject this one form Porn Movie Links now, because I have to get to the other links that are in there, but feel free to make some changes & resubmit it

I understand that. I started making the gallery and I realized that it didn't match. Trying to drive home the anal niche for branding and seo, but your right, it doesnt make sense! All Good!
