Buying backlinks
Has anyone purchased links (for SE rankings not traffic) for their blogs? What kind of results did you get? I guess a lot would have to do with the quality of links... It seems to take a while for new blogs to get any SE love - I'm thinking if I make new ones I might try buying links to speed up the process. Just wondering if anyone has any anecdotal reports.

Buying links is illegal when you read googles rules, so be sure that you don't get caught cause then you can kiss your se ranking goodbye. I also think you need to buy more then one link to see any effect, not sure about the exact number, but i guess it must be more then 3 or 4.

I'm sure if you are sloppy, buy shit links, or too many too fast, it might kick in some filters, but I can't see G being THAT picky. If they were I'd think entire industries would drop off the SERPS. Google's guidelines leave a lot of room for interpretation. How could it be wrong to buy "advertising" or "traffic" for your site?

Don't say i didn't warn you
![]() Something that now works might not work after the next google update and might have a negative effect on your ranking. It is up to the webmaster to decide if he is willing to take that risk and the consequences under certain circumstances. |
