Hi People,

I wonder if you would be good enough to have a look at my site and tell me what you think. My site is maybe a bit different to the ones that you are used to reviewing/linking to. It is purely a site designed and run by me (and my current girlfriend) for fun - one of the reasons I set it up was because of the difficulty in finding free porn when I wanted to have a wank (the good old days of usenet newsgroups without advertising are long gone arent they).

I designed the site and appear in most of the pics so I have complete control (ok the pics arent the best quality but Im learning) - I am reluctant however to take the pics off html pages as I think it detracts from the design even though less link sites accept them. I would like to ramp up the traffic to it now though before I do any more pics. Danger Dave, Richards Realm and Janes Guide have all given me great traffic in the past but now its died down somewhat. Greenguy didnt want to link me and the current crop of links on the front page arent performing very well (except DD). Is it acceptable to have doorways - there seem to be so many different rules on each link site.

Anyway, as I said before I would value your opinions on either the design of my site or how best to link it up to get more trafffic.

I am one of "the current crop of links on the front page" - I run Adult Porn Guide - and the reason I didnt list your site is that you have far too much content for a free site.

Whilst I understand your reasoning - "one of the reasons I set it up was because of the difficulty in finding free porn when I wanted to have a wank" - we are not in this biz to 'give away free porn'. OK we do give away a lot, but with the intention of making a living in the process.

I think if your site suddenly became bombarded with masses of traffic and it started to cost you money to 'give away free porn' you may start to think differently.

Having said that, there is nothing wrong with your site. If it wasnt for the amount of free pics, I would have listed it without a hassle

Yeah there is way too much content there.

Also the pages are too wide. You are not doing yourself any favors by making it so that they can browse the full size pics without having to go back to the thumbs each time since they don't see any ads as they are looking at the pics.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for looking at my site. Im glad you didnt say it looked bad or anything.

It seems as though I have a problem now though. I have too many pics for a free site and probably not enough for a paysite.

Ive had a think about this. I intend to do one, maybe two, sets of thirty or so quality pictures per month. I really dont want to start buying content as my site is all about me and girls Ive been with. Could I get away with some way of charging with such a small amount of pics? If so what form would it take?

I am happy to put up a few doorways. Place banner advertising on the gallery pages and make the user return there after seeing each full size pic.

But is all this worth it considering the amount of pics now (140) and by the end of the year maybe around 350.

Sorry if this thread has now gone off topic, any future questions will be asked in the newbie section.

If you are going to update it on a regular basis & you want to make a few bucks in the process, you might want to make it into an AVS site.

Then you can build small 20-30 pic free sites to promote it
