Verizo to offer 30 Mbps/5 Mbps home service
Verizon also has begun building its FTTP network in parts of California, Florida and Texas:
Maximum connection speeds and pricing for Fios consumer services are: * 5 Mbps/2 Mbps for $34.95 a month as part of a calling package, or $39.95 a month stand-alone * 15 Mbps/2 Mbps for $44.95 a month as part of a calling package, or $49.95 a month stand-alone * 30 Mbps/5 Mbps at pricing to be announced later |

That is what I was thinking.
Why pay for hosting when you can have an internet connection like this. This is one of those things that could change everything. Full screen high rez movies will become the norm if this becomes wide spread. |

D'ya think we can get that in the UK? We're still stuck with 512k for about $30 per month with a 2Gig per month transfer limit: and that's the best deal here! 10Gig per month costs about $70. Shocking, or what?!

What sucks is that I'm about 1-2 miles too far from their hub to get any DSL from them
