Getting Listed

Hi To All,
I was wondering why I can't seem to get my page
www.chynnalynn.com/freewarn.htm listed on Green Guy. Can someone take a look and tell me what is wrong. I have re-read the rules over and over and can not understand what I am doing wrong. Thank You

He doesn't list pages he lists sites. Sites need click-able thumbs, I couldn't find any. Plus he and his reviewers probably didn't like it being left justified. Lastly it's pretty ugly. I'm sure they can tell you more.

yeah you have several things wrong, first off, it needs to be index.html not anything else (htm is ok if its the default page).

you need more recips, atleast 6-8 on the warning page.

after you enter, you need gallery 1 and gallery 2 links, and no more then 3 other links on the page (to promote)

and of course, you need galleries, with 20 clickable thumbs that lead you to a full pic.

thats just the beginning. search google for "making free sites for linklists" for a good tutorial, there is too much wrong with your site as i see it for the message board to help you make it correct.

or just goto link-o-rama and look at atleast 5-10 free sites, and model yours after theres (not design wise, just on ease of use)

So What he is looking for is Free Sites? This is a AVS site. I have a free site I can submitt. Thanks for the input. Also if I could Surfn ask you a question. You say my site is ugly. I know what is ugly can be very subjective and I do have a large membership base. So In your opion what is that you think is ugly as I am always open to good sugestions. Thanks again.

First off he no longer lists AVS sites.

By ugly I mean it is scatter shot, like you just add things as they come to mind. Plus you have too many unlinked thumbs, things that open in new windows, misleading text, etc.

When I went to his submit page it did not say he was not taking any AVS sites or I would Have not submitted. It said he did as long as you provided a password to the content area. I quess I could be wrong about that. But it was just last week. Thanks for the inputs on the page. I was trying a new idea on the tour pages. I was thinking about going back to thumbs that link to a pic again. I was trying to get away from doing what eveyone else does.

I do list AVS sites & I think ProAdult is still on the OK list, but I did see a few counters on there & we no longer lists sites with counters.

And your sample pics are huge - the ones I looked at were over 500K which is way too big.

That status-bar crap that doesn;t let you look at the URL's you're about to click on does make all the links on there blind, but other than those 3, it looks ok.

I'm not sure if I was just blind before or you adjusted something, but the pages don't fit in an 800 wide browser & there's also a link going down the middle of the 1st page when you get past 800 wide

Much better - but it is still a little off on the right hand side next to the "welcome" text - if you look, the border on that table is sticking out a little bit more than thte border on the table above it.

But other than that little thing, it's good
