ProBilling GONE!

Dear Board,

If you have any info on what has happened to ProBilling.com please enlighten.

I have been trying to contact them for 2 weeks to update my info. The info they have for me is worthless.

They don't answer.

So I look at my stats and find they never ever gave me back one cent of my holdbacks.

I have not been using them and don't have their buttons on my site. My last sale was over 6 months ago. 1st sale 3 years ago. Not one cent of holdback every credited back.

Not one payment received because it's less than $100.

But still, when it comes time I want my cash to my correct address, which I can't update. They can kiss ach goodbye because I won't give them my precious numbers to my current account.

I want to close my account and get my money. I only decided to close it after not getting a response from them for the past 2 weeks.

I contacted their host, Telus, and they basically don't care that they are hosting a fraudulant site. If anyone knows what rock these people are under, please, let me know.

Please explain further. You haven't been paid for 3 years? You didn't get your holdback returned? You used them on a paysite you owned, or as a partner?

Are they still active?

Please explain further, short simple sentences please!

I used them for a paysite I own. I haven't been paid in 3 years because I never made the minimum payout. Fine, I can deal with that.

The few sales I had with them were older than 6 months ago. But from day 1, 3 years, not one cent of holdback returned in the stats. A few bucks, but they are my bucks. Total is still less than $100 but they are no where to be found, so when I do find them, I'm done.

I was willing to let the balance ride before I started with much diligence to contact them for the past two weeks. I have changed my PO Box and my bank. Not one shred of info they have on me is correct any more. Since I can't get in touch with them I want to close my account out and get the money they do owe me.

I have contacted their host, Telus, and they haven't got a response from them either, because the email contact in whois bounces. Someone is paying the hosting bill and the buttons to signup still work, except of course, I removed them.

I used them for 4th backup payor after all the others. What good are they to me now? They don't respond to emails so I just lost those revenues. Even when and if I reached the min payout, what good is it if the address and ach info they have is wrong. I have emailed them, used their online contact, called the 800 t#, written their host. They are gone to me.

No, by my best guess, they sure as hell aren't active. Sale will still go thru and the admin is up as well as their site, but they are not a going concern. No business that is would behave like this.

They aren't victims of the hurricane's, they are in UK. The last I got email from them was in 3/05.

Probilling died around 2 years ago.

Sure their site is still up but its just an empty shell pushing a few check joins from what i can see.

They've been gone for a long time now.

Why wouldn't they keep their site up and try to keep conning people out of money? PSW took my money and ran a long time ago, but theirsite still makes them look like a functional company.


Best to always keep up with adult industry news. I'm surprised how many people I've seen online who are just now noticing that apparently there's some kind of new 2257 thing going on.

Not true. They stopped taking Visa a long time ago, but they have been around as a check option. I was on their site just a few weeks ago, so if they are now gone, it is a recent thing. (or they left their site up long after death)

If they are gone it's too bad. There was always hope that, being in Canada, they would evolve into a Canadian IPSP option for Canuck webmasters. They had all the infrastucture in place - they just needed to partner with a Canadian bank. There must have been reasons behind the scenes why they couldn't make that happen, or they chose never to go that route because the market is too small.

And all this makes me blue, because it reminds me of the current disaster-like situation that we small canadian internet businesses find ourselves in - no real billing options.

I think its safe to say they are gone, or at the very least pretending to still exist.

they are dead, we never saw any check or holding for 2 years no. We don't even ask for any more as it is not that much but they started slipping when they stopped with credit card proccessing.

yup, have been dead for quite some time now.... you should have received some emails from them saying that they quit etc
