Help with Laptop issue..
Hey hopefully someone has the answer to my latest issue with my damn laptop.
It wont remember passwords to anything, even if I click the save this password box, even in email, whenever it connects to download my email, outlook prompts me for my password, once I enter it, it lets me in, BUT I have to enter it EVERY SINGLE TIME, it's driving me nuts! Help ![]() |

Not sure if I have a specific answer for your problem... many things could cause this.
If you're running Windows XP or ME (something that includes system restore) you can often restore to a point prior to the problem and have it corrected. This can be a pain if you've installed or un-installed a lot of stuff recently. Another thing you can try is to completely remove all network drivers, reboot, then install them again. Both of these options have solved similar problems for me at one time or another. Hope this helps. |

I assume you dont have a setting set in IE to delete cookies every time you shutdown your browser or a spam protection/spyware resident shield that does the same thing?
If you havent done a cold reboot for a while, XP tends to start doing things like that - Ive found after a lot of graphic intensive work, a reboot (not a restart) will clear up that problem |

It could be related to wrong security settings in IE - worth checking out!

Thank you Ill try all of the above, turning back the clock wont be a realistic option for me on this one though, someone told me once it had to do with a bad registry or something along those lines.
Off to investigate, and as always thank you. |
