Free site #3 needs serious help

Ok, my last 2 free sites didnt get listed at as many places as I would have liked. The designs werent very clean, sort of bunched together and crowded looking, I cleaned them up and opened it up a bit. Aslo from now on Ill be submitting mostly movie sites instead of pics.

What I need is some good reviews. Dont hold anything back please. Anything you can tell me to help me get listed and make sales is GREATLY appreciated. If you dont want to post your thoughts here you can sent me a private message. Seriously, any tips you can give me is appreciated more than you can know.

Just took a look WarBot...I don't see any problems with that site...it's damn clean

I've got a hunch the reason you weren't getting listed is the reason we discussed. But, it would appear that you've fixed that issue...glad to see it

I only have 2 comments about the site. Try to change up your text between pages. Simply repeating the same text on every page not only doesn't do much for the surfer, it's also a good way to get dup page penalties with the engines.

The second comment is...I don't see my recip on there

Huh... I didnt consider that. Ill have to add a couple sentences of unique text and change the ad text a bit on each one. I guess I should change the description meta on each page too. Not a big deal... Easy fix. Ill get to that tomorrow before I submit (just cant bring myself to start opening up programs this late at night / early in the morning).

Added yours too Robert. I had your coedsandbabes.com site in my future ll's bookmarks but I was thinking it was a teen(ish) site for some reason. Its kinda funny, When I was hunting for my domain name I actually checked coedsandbabes.com lol. I have it written down in my to-do folder sitting right next to me. I just thought that was kinda cool Its really amazing how many good adult domain names there are left out there.

Heres two problems Ive been a little concerned with:

1.) It seems like half the submit pages say something like "I want to be on the same page as LOR, Penisbot, etc..."... What I decided to do is pick the recips totally at random. Every new site will have totally random recips. This gives the big sites new spider trails and the little sites get to be with the big sites every once in a while. Another thing about this method is that link-o-rama and penisbot have never listed one of my sites, so being on the same page with them aint exactly a good thing lol.

2.) There are several link lists that dont allow sponsor content - at all. The problem I have with this is that exclusive, high quality sites wont allow you to use your own content to promote them. So Im stuck promoting sites that I would never join myself. Twistys, atk, bangbros, sapphic, nastydollars, etc... wont allow you to use your own content to promote them. I just wanted to get that point out there before I submit my sponsor content free site to them tomorrow lol.

Ok, I guess Ill try to get back to sleep. Looks like a couple easy fixes and Ill submit this one tomorrow. I have the next one half formed in my mind already. I cant wait until this gets easier/quicker and Im making a few sales from it.

I've never heard that some sponsors won't let you use your own content to promote their site. I promote BangBros using my own content always have

As far as sponsor content, I have that rule of no sponsor content on my LL. But I do list sites that use it, as long as every submit from them isn't the same site content. The only risk with sponsor content is if the LL had seen it before you probably wont' get listed.

I don't know about other LL but I get to many people who submit sites everyday, prompting the same site same sponsor and it gets old.

WarBot - OTB is really great, I just went to my first one myself You're on the right track, getting yourself known as someone who wants to improve & follow the rules. You'll find some of the smaller LLs *cough* will be a little more lenient with your sponsor content if they haven't seen it before & it's good quality. Some of the vid caps are really bad, stay away from those, and there are a few LLs that do not take sponsor content at all, just make sure you read the rules & you should be ok

edit - oh and 'those smaller LL' usually just like to see their recip, doesn't matter that much who they're grouped with (within reason lol)

One thing I’ve learned is that it takes time to develop your submit list(s) based on any number of criteria such as; categories, sponsors, partnerships, who allows text links and who does not etc. It’s a lot of work but makes life easier in the end.

Yea WB, I agree with the others. It will take some time to tweak out a submit list that works for you. I do think your acceptance numbers are going to go up due the recent changes you've already made

As to lists insisting on being with other lists, really look carefully to decide if you think it's reasonable. USUALLY I've found it's very small lists wanting to be listed with the big dogs. Rarely will one of the big dogs insist on such things because they dont' need to. You're on the right track doing what you're doing. Give it some time and you'll get things tweaked best for yourself.

As to Penisbot not having listed your stuff. Again, give it some time...I seem to recall it can take a while to get listed there. It very well may be too early to tell whether your sites didn't make the cut. Actually, I think you can search for the status of your site with their script.

Sponsor content wise...most folks will accept it if the quality is good. Steer clear of vid caps though...a lot of sites hate those since the quality is usually pretty crappy. Also, try to only use content that has either small or no watermarks. HUGE watermarks are one of the things that caused the no sponsor content rules.

All that said, your sites are pretty damn clean. Keep doing what you're doing...you're definitely on the right track

Anyways, SUE! Glad you read this. It was your site I read that rule on. Theres a couple others that give a "Sponsor content is on a first come first serve basis" type warning but yours is the only one I can recall saying they wont allow it - period. Ill submit to you and let you be the judge. Either way youre on my submit list and its very hard to get off that list. Many have tried and failed.

Docholly. Yep, I know all about On the Bench. I just keep forgetting about it. I would at least like to stop in there once and see what its all about.

Hey Ponygirl. Thanks for the tips. Ive looked over some of the vid caps but havent come up with a use for them yet except as preview thumbs on my video sites. About the reputation thing... Im an insecure, workaholic perfectionist. I want to be friends with everyone, I want to get my sites listed everywhere, and most important I want to start making some money. Im just asking for a chance, some guidance, and Ill take it from there.

Hiya Warbot,

Just wanted to drop two things in here.

One thing you can do in the future is to try to find videos that have matching photosets. Whether you're using sponsor content (often not a good idea) or buying content, try to get matching photos. You can use the photos for design elements on the site. You can use them to build photo galleries for other free sites. And most important, you can use some of the photos as links to the matching video segments (instead of having to use vidcaps). You'll always have great looking video free sites if you do that.

Second thing is about OTB. If you do stop in there once and see what its all about, you'll only have an idea of what that one hour was like. I don't think I've been to two of them that were really alike. But that's more reason to attend as far as I'm concerned.
