We was just in Malibu a month and a half ago, and I said it then, Brownifornia is in major trouble, I have never seen such a terrible looking landscape in my life, and it is the entire state not just the southern parts. We were right next to Pepperdine U when we were there and it is just scary seeing the news knowing "we were just there".

We've had 3 fires around here in the last week and a half but I think they are all actually contained now. Seems like it's been smokey forever. When's earthquake season begin again?

The kids fine, she lives about a block off of Malabu Canyon Rd. east of the fires so it's not even smokey

Sad days. So glad that we have been untouched through this.
