Good Morning

Up early (well, actually up on time) due to my daily visit from the Shit Fairy

I feel MUCH better today. Yesterday wasn't too bad, so maybe this flu thing is gone

Yell & his woman came by last night for dinner & a movie. We watch Flight. I'd have thrown that dead girl under the bus so fast her head would be spinning in her grave

Just work & watching hockey on the agenda for me today.

No Shit Fairies here but the jalapeno covered pizza from last night did get me awake at 4 in the morning feeling like a volcano was erupting in my gut.

Super sore today after doing a few hours at the gym yesterday and then coming home and running a ethernet cable from the office to our bedroom.

Simon was right. The mouthwash was of no help in drilling a 3/4 hole through 11 inches of reenforced concrete or in any other part of running the cable. Took me over an hour of drilling and three drill bits of various sizes to get the hole drilled. Actually mouthwash was helpful in rinsing out the concrete dust from my mouth.

Christy wants to go kayaking today and she said that today is my day so we can do anything I want as long as it involves kayaking. Still trying to figure out how I can put a couch and TV on my kayak.

For some odd reason I've had this song stuck in my head since 4 am when I woke up and had to eat a bunch a of antacid tablets.

Good morning.

I am working on computer hardware today. I moved our modem / wireless router out of the basement after my daughter (Mac) and wife (Windows) complained about the poor Internet speeds. I never seem to have problem with my laptops (Linux). Anyways, the NAS box I have makes too much noise -- not bad noise, just a fan -- so I have to setup a WIFI extender to run it in a less obvious place. Then I've got some backing up to do and before you know the day is gone.

Friends are coming for dinner and my wife is a great cook so there will be good food.

Squeezed in a little work yesterday and it will be pretty much the same today as I have a couple of kids and a grandkid showing up today as well. We gave a car to the boys who are going to sell it and split the money, so at least that will be going today.

Can't believe it's eleven already. Up since six and still not even close to done.

Built a new unix desktop last month from an old PC and I am still trying to get used to it.

I still want to get my five miles in before the day is over.
