I have, in the past, mentioned the idea of adding to your profits by using adverts for "non adult" products and got a lot of resistance to the idea from die hard traditionalists (an "I am a porn merchant, I don't want to sell non-porn stuff, it would be wrong" kind of attitude). This is despite the fact that non-porn on a porn site makes a lot of money and does not compete with the existing adverts! So let me propose a compromise. Let me suggest a product that sits on the borders between porn and non-porn. A product that is mostly a non-porn product, but does contain some "scenes of a sexual nature". That way you can test the profitability of selling non-porn without actually doing so, and decide for yourself how good an idea it is.

Those who know me will have probably guessed by now that the product I am talking about is an eBook called "Mistress Of Planet Dominatrix". It is a science fiction crime novel, but it also contains sex scenes (and, as the title suggests, scenes of female domination over men).

Give it a try as a sponsor. It will not harm your existing sponsors, but it will give you an additional stream of income, bringing in money from surfers who visit your site but would not normally spend on your sponsors. Extra money is always good, and in these hard times, an extra source of income is something you desperately need!
