DSL inept on my part?
So, we move, get dsl, all set right?
Well, yes and no.. LOL Actually I am finding that nearly ALL sponsors, and most site I review seem to have 25k per sec download limit. (like for content and movie content downloads) Is this on my end? or are the sponsor boxes set up to limit BW to 25K per IP? It's not that I can't live with that speed just curious if it can go faster. Back ups using DAP are always in the 200-300K range.

Sounds like your MTU size is set wrong. On windows I believe it is setup for dialup not broadband. Being that I don't really use Windows I can't be more help, but here is a Google page on it.

I had DSL for about a week. I was just comparing it to my Cable Modem and was very dissatisfied with the performance.
So, I just upgraded my cable modem and am now running at about 6 megabits/second  |

Hmmm - ok, dsl reports test shows speed at about 200k.

My uploading and downloading are the same speeds...lightening fast 1.2M unless I connect to a slow site. |rasta|
