Whew!
What a game.
This should be as sweet of a series as the two series that got them to the pinnacle.
The bunch of guys in Boston are a super crew, great players but most importantly a lot of heart.
St Louis is possibly the best team in baseball talentwise, they definately are record wise.
Last years Rd Sox/A's series was one of the greatest series of all time..but this years yankees/sox series surpased that.
Damn am I glad we made ortiz happy this summer by being the ONLY one of the free agents we signed.
I'm glad we ended up keeping Manny, he may be the best all around hotter in the game today...and his stats match up with the best of all time, but David is Mr Clutch.
I've been a Sox fan for over 40 years, and though we don't get there that often...evey one of the world series we've been in are regarded among the best of all time.
It looks like this one will be another doozy. Two great teams wit soul and drive.
Too bad the Sox don't field great teams that often...it would be a boom for baseball to be sure
