Having problems with my system so I spent the last two days canibilizineing a working system with spare parts.

Now I get it working and of coarse it wants me to reactivate xp because so much is different. So I go ahead and try and it tells me that I have reactivated to many times so I need a different key now.

So I guess if you upgrade your system to many times you need a new copy of Windows. Pure bullshit!!! |pissed|

A simple phone call and most times you don't have to talk to anyone. Also a simple way to use XP on multiple machines

Ok... so that was somewhat painless. Though I did wind up having to talk to someone.

When it said I needed a new key I thought I would need a new copy of windows. Because that is how I got my original key.

I have done it quite a few times. I think it is about a 50/50 chance of not talking to anyone. But even when you do, it is easy.

I wonder what purpose it serves if they will just give you another. Or is it just to catch keys that are spread out real far?
