Freesites: Quantity VS Quality
As I am studying my options, I am pondering on this; quantity vs quality.
How should one manage his or her freesites? Question 1. I know once you submit TGP gallery, you are not allow to change the content, but are you allow to do that with freesites? Question 2. How often then should the contents on a freesite should be updated? I am thinking it is better to make people to come back to your site. no? Thank you ![]() |

The old saying is "build, submit, forget." Most link lists send a burst of traffic when a site is new, then it tapers off as newer sites are added. IMO updating free sites is a waste of time and money when you could be using that content to build new sites and end up with much more traffic overall. Link lists will generally not take action if a site is changed after submission as long as the site still follows the rules. This allows you to swap out sponsor banners and such if necessary or rework your sales text, but for the most part your time will be better spent building new sites.

There are different categories of "free site"...
For instance, Greenguys Link-O-Rama is the type of free site that tries to get people to bookmark it and come back day after day. But here we are often referring to "freesites", which are very formulaic sites, similar to pamphlets, which are built and submitted to a free link list site like Greenguys. |
