Well the wife just ripped me a new for this

Well I spent most of my day reading this board and posting, but we talked last week about cutting the dogs hair cause its getting hot here. I thought I would suprise here and cut it while she was out. Well he freaked out from the buzzer and would not let me cut him anymore. She is not to happy that her little devoted dog now is a bit funkier looking. lol. I dont think its that bad and he dont seem to mind. lol.

what were you thinking? hey, lets make the dog look like it has male pattern baldness? haha

at least you don't have to worry about doing it ever again. Are you going to offer to cook her a meal next?

Your wife is way too sensitive. There's nothing wrong with spotty baldness

Yea Juggernaut...that's not a happy looking lil dog...lol.

I did almost the same thing to my lil fuzzball about a week ago. Been working so much, his coat was matted...and him falling into the pool didn't help either. Since we're coming into the hot time of year anyway, he got a butch hair cut. Only difference is...I FINISHED him...so at least it's even

He and the gf are both still giving me mean looks though...lol.

Here's a pic of the lil beast before the hair cut.

Einstein

Don't have a pic of after...he threatened to bite me if I take any...lol!

Nice I need to move to FLA. thats some pad man. I'm scared to take my camera outside for fear it will get stolen in this complex lol. Areas nice, its a condo but the people here feel they moved up in the world from there trailer. Einstein lol thats what the wife calls the dog at times. lol. when he had hair it would stick up all crazy and she would say look at my little Einstein lol. Nice dog man cute as hell but then I'll take a dog over anything. How did he climb that tree? lol.

Yea Jugg...I fuckin love it here

Bought this house for way less than half what I sold a townhouse for in CA...gotta love that! Add in all the space...privacy...and a pool...life is good

Einstein is a real pleasure to be around...very good little dog. He'll be 10 in September...been with me since he was 12 weeks old

The one in the tree is Bandit (gf named him)...he stopped by here a couple months ago and has been hanging out since. Was a juvenile when he arrived...don't know if his 'family' got eaten by a bobcat...or he was just at the age to get booted from his moms care. Cute lil sucker stays up in one of the oak trees most of time...playing with his feet...or tree limbs...lol.

Einstein was watching the racoon when he walked into the pool a couple weeks ago

I groom my cat Samson's coat every 4 weeks. He is (was) a domestic long hair but since he was a kitten, he gets a haircut and bath whether he likes it or not. He's pretty good though. He likes the feel of the clippers while he gets trimmed up - not to mention he does get his coat cut faster this way.

The only real thing he hates about the whole experience is the bath (what cat likes water other than drinking it?) and that only lasts like 5 minutes.

He never has any hairball issues because of the haircuts and baths and he loves feeling lighter and cooler and we notice that he is more alert and playful because of it so it works out in the end. |cool|
