Sorry that I said I would do this today but I am spent. I slept well but need to take a day off. No working on the linklist, no working on ggandj, no working on my new shop...just a ride north with my lovely wife.

I had a friend die yesterday in a motorcycle accident. He forgot to put his kick stand up and took a left at 40 mph. He had severe head injuries and died on the operating table. He was a friend and I just don't feel like working today. Bike riders, be careful out there...always assume at an intersection that a car is going to hit you and be prepared. That's what I do...I always assume that I am going to be run into and am very careful. And, I have ridden several times myself after forgetting about the kick stand. Luckily, I have noticed it before that dreadful left turn.

So, have a good day today.

It happens every year on bikes. A month ago, one of our neighbors lost a leg and 2 days ago, someone killed. The guy that got killed was a friend to all of us. He worked on our bikes, sold us our supplies and will be missed.
