God damn redirecting to spyware shit asshole!!

So I went to check a redirecting link on my LL yesterday and all of the sudden my computer stops doing what it's doing so I have to reboot. When it starts up again the desktop is gone, I get tons of spyware warnings etc... this will take me a full day again to get the thing clean...

I got one of his domain on blacklist so probably this saved me from reinstaling my OS..

i have some more CWS crap and CW shredder hasn't been updated since may.. so everytime i boot up i have to use spybot because it replicates itself.. luckily i only need IE for 1 or 2 sites and i'll just avoid them for the next few days until someone gets a fix for this crap..

Being a glutton for punishment, I went to have a look myself... really I wanted to check out my PC's defences.

Norton Antivirus 9 - Corp Edition trapped the trojan immediately.
Added to that my HOSTS file (all 42000+ lines of it) blocks sites from launching external code and iframes from known shit-heads.

I am not a Symantec affiliate, but I would recommend it... have never had a problem since changing from McAfee nearly four years ago.

With these scumbags seemingly breeding like rabbits, it might be worth considering upgrading your defences (or getting a Linux box for checking links

)

someone should file a lawsuite against the spyware people spyware selling spyware removal hmm sounds like a sueable offense to me I get it atleast once a month and I call their # cuss yell and carry on non stop over it they never learn. But it is illegal for a plumber to bust you pipes then charge you to fix em or a body shop to break your car then charge you so why not illegal for spyware removal companies to spyware ya then sell you the tool to fix the problem they create after some lawsuites maybe these guys will learn!!!..
