Would anyone be interested in this?
Tis the holiday season and as always during this time of year, my thoughts seem to increasingly fill with NFL playoffs.
During the playoff's most bars and many offices have pools that consist of a 100 square board in a 10x10 grid. For those who may have never played. You purchase a blank square for what ever the board amount is (I've played boards from $1 to $1000). After all the squares are purchased numbers from 0-9 are randomly selected to go along the x and y axis. The teams are also selected randomly to be assigned an axis. Then you take the first # of the final score for each team, match it against the axis and the owner of the square wins the pot. The pot size is determined by $ per square * 100 squares - % skim by person running the board. After all that, the question is do y'all think anyone would be interested in doing this on-line? Second, if I set something like this up, would there be enough interest on GG&J to set a board or two up specificly for those here. For folks here the skim %=0 so the pot would equal $*100-paypal processing fees. |

Those are illegal in most states and probably are online too. Much harder to be discreet about it online.
