Suggestion on site needed!

Hello,

I was recommended to post on here about a paysite that we are running. The site is www.creamweb.tv, everything looks good and is working properly, we are submitting the MGP galleries and are receiving on average 40,000 hits a day for the past 3 month's, and have 0 conversions... Any comments or feedback is appreciated... Thanks in advance!!!

That's really strange, because $10 for a month is really cheap.

The 40K - are those hits to the galleries or hits to the paysite? If it's the galleries, how many are making it to the paysite?

Really dumb question - have you verified that the sign up page works?

Also, do you mean 40K "visitors" to the galleries/paysite or do you really mean "hits" when you say hits. Depending on your pages, if it's actually "hits" instead of visitors, then you may have a lot less visitors than you think.

We have tested everything out, and everything is working perfectly. Very Very weird... We are getting 40K Unique hits per day on average. Any thoughts?

6ammedia, the questions are valid:

First off, is that 40k per day to your galleries or 40k per day to your tour (so maybe 600-800k per day to your galleries)?

Second, I would have to say you may have issues because your tour is a "mixed" tour... some live action, some toon. You might want to start looking at where people go in your tour, what they are clicking on, and their paths through the site. You might have an issue or a lockup that makes people stop or be unable to buy your product.

Example: If you go look at your preview clips, they only way to join is to (1) hit the backup button in the browser, and then (2) look for the single one and only join button on the entire tour page.

You have tons of ways to get FREE porn, and only a single way per page to pay for it. You have no method to move from preview clip direct to sale, so people don't have any way to join.

NEVER MAKE PEOPLE WORK TO JOIN YOU SITE.

Finally, let me say that your preview clips are too long, too good, and too complete. Some of them are running around 1 minute or so, and honestly, there is enough material there for someone to loop them in the media player and get off without issue (average time from finding what you want and getting off is something like 6 minutes... 1 minute clips can make it pretty easy for them to handle).

Your tour is pretty but the design, layout, and flow of the site are just not doing the job.

I have found that with many guys 5 mins 30sec of that 6 is in finding it and the other 30 sec in getting off

That mustve been an interesting research job for someone lol.

40,000 uniques a day to a 9 bucks/month site and no sign up? That's brutal.

First, run the site through FF/IE/NN and make sure there's no techncical problems you're overlooking. Turn off javascript/cookies and see if navigation works and people can still sign up.

Track traffic on every page (in case you haven't already) and see how many uniques are hitting your join page, how many are clicking the "sign up" button, and how many actually get to the CC/online check form.

Second, I'd get rid of the elaborate sign up form. Typing my name, email addy, password, ZIP code, and selecting my Country is a huge drag. I will never do it even if the membership was FREE.

Personally, I'd raise the monthly fee to at least 25 bucks/mo to make the site seem more legit and try adding a temporary 2 day free pass or a cheap 3-4 bucks trial to see if that makes anyone sign up...

Trailers on your tour: Increase resolution, bump up the bitrate and shorten the duration. Frankly, your trailers look pretty lousy.

I wouldn't embed the video on an empty page. Put a cc/online check sign up form right next to the video, and a load of sales pitches with more pics to keep the surfer turned on.

There are other sites in your niche that offer thousands of DVD quality videos. I have no clue if your site has 100 10 minute clips or 5000 1 hour DVD rips. Tell surfers how many videos you got (and don't inflate your numbers

use a counter type thingie). Not knowing will stop me from signing up.

Cut down the amount of free stuff on your tour. You only really need one good looking trailer to make sales.

If you want to try reselling the site to bookmarkers, you can try rotating the trailer every week, or building a separate "extended tour" type thing where you can send surfers that are hard to crack.
