epassporte question
Has anyone seen "longggggggggggg" pending charges on their epassporte accounts that seem to take forever? I got a domain name which was $14.95 but I used a coupon to make it $9.95...long story short, the $14.95 shows up as pending back in march but just days later the $9.95 shows up as the domain registrar said this would correct the transaction amount. The $14.95 is still showing as pending though.
Thats just one issue...the other are two transaction purchase attempts for something else that were unable to go through but is showing as pending still since last month as well. Technically, if a purchase does not go through, no payment or pending payment should show on a normal visa. So has anyone seen this happen with theirs? |

I mailed you back yesterday I hope it cleared things up.
But this is how it works. The virtual VISA is a debit card and when a sponsor puts a pending charge on your account they have 30 days to complete the transaction so we must hold the money for those 30 days, if we didn't it would open up for fraud. If we dropped after 7 days and the account holder emptied his account and then the merchant completed the transaction on day 9 we would be out the money. |

A woman is like beer. They look good, they smell good, and you'd step over your own mother just to get one!

NetGoonie, I've done the coupon thing before as well, and yup, it messes you up. Have the company you bought through send a fax and epass will take care of it within minutes. Or you can wait the 30 days and it will disappear.

Yup...just got that email 'today' actually....I kinda figured I would have to wait (and more likely) the full 30 days. I think it'll be easier to stick with a real visa instead once I use up the funds. |

Don't talk to me about epassporte, they still owe me over $160.
My wife made a purchase in a shop and for some reason the same amount went to pending twice. Now when it's "Pending" it is deducted from your total balance. One of the pending amounts cleared and the other stayed as "Pending". When I checked through this had happened a couple of times. I contacted epassporte's, slower than a really slow rock ballard, support and was told I had to go to the shop and get them to fax epassporte informing them that they don't need the money. I did this and the "Pending" amounts were removed from my account, buuut, although the "pending" amounts were deducted when they originally went through, the amounts were never credited back to my account. I tried contacting them but they simply did not reply, after many many mails they said I need to fill in a dispute form, even though this was supposed to have been sorted when the shop faxed them. So the amounts were deducted when "Pending", and the pending amounts removed when they received the fax, but now I have to fill in more forms and fax them to get my money back. Great Service ![]() |

When a pending charge is dropped the money are added to the account. You won't see a entry in your account statement. If you still feel there have been an error please send me your account name, approximate date of transaction and the amount. |

Only once or twice have I had really long pending charges, only from large merchants on occasion when I use my actual card in the store and not the virtual.
