Watersports and the law

Over the years I have shot quite a bit of watersport footage, but have been afraid to use any of it. |confused|

My hubby and I were thinking about starting up a watersport site, and I was wondering what some of your opinions might be about it.

You do have to assume it's riskier than conventional sex content.

And be ready to react quickly if it starts to look like there is going to be a crackdown on it.

I've been assuming that watersports divides into two categories - basically models peeing & models being pissed on. The latter is almost certainly more likely to attract trouble.

Like all grey-area content, you can make money with it, but you have to accept a greater degree of risk.

I was say consult the lawyer that you have on retainer. If you don't have one on retainer I would suggest you avoid that niche until you do.

I like to surf and jet ski, but i don't know if people would pay too much to see it.

I agree with SirMoby, your best avenue is to consult an attorney who is very familiar with adult, and consequently, about which countries do not have extradition treaties with the US when shit hits the fan.

I think you guys are being a little alarmist. Not that the lawyer advice isn't appropriate, and selling videos would be pretty damn risky, maybe even stupid, but online delivery is only moderately more risky than most other content.

It's close enough to the edge that the risk vs. reward was never there for me.

I think Bill is right though, the risk is probably higher for pissed on as opposed to simply pissing.

Bill is right. Better to be pissed off then pissed on.

Remember there's a new task force in town and they're not here to protect our children. They're here to go after obscenity and that means a consenting adult wanting to see some other consenting adults doing things that you don't see in most American back yards.

I don't see any thing wrong with suggesting a consult with lawyer on any legal question and ecspecially when I don't think any of us have been consulted about water sports. I could be wrong though.

Hi Emmanuelle,

I have 2 ccbill watersports sponsors and used to have an extra 3 until they moved to their own billing processor (although they do still have the option of affiliates using ccbill), and they all feature guys/girls being pissed on as well as just pissing.

If you have material that can make a buck or two, transfer all rights to an offshore juridstiction. Otherwise, try to flog it to europe quietly.

Hi Jel

Older sites were left alone when Ccbill updated their AUP to include watersports. New sites with this material are declined.

I have looked at a lot of watersport sites, and it seems an awful lot of them use CCbill.

I do agree with most of your comments. That is the main reason I have never gone ahead with it. I would think however that there is a lot of other content on the internet that would be cracked down on first, before they would be concerned about watersports. However without question the risk would he higher then "conventional" content.

I could have another woman push a load of cum out of her ass for me to swallow down. That is entertainment! But if some pee dribbles down on my face .... that would be obscene!

That makes sense

Side note for a non-owner (program wise) type question - what is AUP? I hope to be a fully fledged paysite owner when I grow up so any and all terminology I can get I'll take

I'm not certain, but it's quite possible that CCbill EU may have a different AUP than we do over here.

We have had sites get in trouble for red coloured bathwater, stuffed animals, gas masks, saran wrap and several other things. Degradation, abuse and humiliation seem to be okay though.

Those sites where the woman gets cock gagged and vomits is just SO over the edge it is crazy. My opinion is this. Anything that two consenting adults choose to do together is okay in my book. As long as no one is being hurt, and they mutually agree with what is happening. Who am I to judge? If it were only that easy .... if only ...

On a side note, I just emailed CCbill about watersports to see where they stand. I'll let you know when I get an answer.

Just got the answer:

"Dear Webmaster,

We do not handle billing for water sports, if it is model to model. "

This has become a thread about processing and not the niche Lorsha is talking about. Why?

Plenty of processors will take on this niche. It is obviously not taboo in our webmaster community, so Lorsha why not move ahead with your idea and use whatever processor wants the % of sales you make?

Best of luck!

After doing more researching on the topic, we have decided against it. But thanks for the support.
