ICQ 5.1 and Norton Firewall
Hi
 My main computer fried itself and now I got a new machine. But I can't fire up ICQ for some reason. I've tried googling this, but everything I've tried doesn't work. I'm using Norton 2006 with ICQ permitted but all I get is a yellow flower. Any help appreciated.

If I'm not mistaken, ICQ has a problem today. Try upgrading your version. Most ICQ users were prompted to when they launched ICQ today. Or it could be with your connection only.

i used to have loads of problems with ICQ until I installed qip (http://www.qip.ru) fixed all my problems and has some descent features.

i stopped to use icq for a few years
i advice you to use Trillian
