My reply on the topic was heavily sarcastic like Ana replied.

The fact of the matter is that our Gov has turned into one big joke. This is what happens when you don't have a bill of rights like America does.

Our Senate is full of Christian crussaders that are out to ban anything against their morals. If they get enough wozers to support them, then anything they want will be passed as a bill and made into a law.

Don't worry about the taxing of bodily functions, I'm sure that's on their agenda as well.

Won't somebody think of the children!

In all seriousness though many of you have a lot invested in this plan failing because many countries governments are paying close attention to the implementation of this gigantic censorship effort and are taking notes. I can almost guarantee that the likes of New Zealand will do the same thing if Australia succeeds.

The problem with removing liberties and freedoms is they A) don't always have the desired effect and B) are very rarely ever returned once removed.
