NBA Internext Contest Is Officially OPEN!

The NBA wrapped up it's Regular Season last night so that means we're ready to get the NBA Playoffs part of our Win A Trip To Internext contest up & running

For the NBA Playoff's portion of the contest, the rules are basically the same as the NHL PLayoff's portion:
1 - You need to be a member of the board
2 - you need to have your picks in 1/2 hour before the start of the 1st game on Saturday (12:30 PM EDT)

We have changed the way you submit picks for this - now you must send a Private Message via the board (as opposed to an email) The PM system on the board is almost instant, compared to various email providers, some of which are like watching grass grow

The matchups for Round 1 are as follows:
Indiana vs Boston
Miami vs New Orleans
New Jersey vs New York
Detroit vs MIlwaukee
Minnesota vs Denver
Sacramento vs Dallas
Los Angeles vs Houston
San Antonio vs Memphis

So send in who you think will win each Best Of 5 Series & everyone that has the most series picked correctly will move onto Round 2.

That's about it - don't be late - this pool will be closed at 12:30 PM EDT on Saturday and we will post everyone's picks at that time.

Yes those were the days when all of us would get together at the bar and watch the Al Secords and Denis Savards and Doug Wilsons right on up to J.R. and Chelly. After that, no one is too sure, but we think the team pulled a Robert Irsay and ran off in the middle of the night. Now there's just a bunch of pathetic impersonators calling themselves the Blackhawks. At least we have a great minor league club to watch in the Chicago Wolves. And now the basketball team is the equivalent of the New York Liberty (at best). Sad days in the Windy City. Thanks GG for giving us Chicagoans something to do while the NHL and NBA playoffs go on in the rest of the country again.
