Thanks. He's been threatening to update it for awhile but hasn't so far.
I might try and figure out how to contact directly and see what can be done. If I make progress I will let everyone here know.

Please do, Jai-Ling! I would love to get off the older PHP, and I am sure my host would love it too. I am also not opposed to reasonable fees.
