Successfully promoting dating services?

The other day I got my first EVER check from Adult Friend Finder. That's after 4 years, folks.

I've managed to sell a few memberships to iFriends, and I've promoted various dating services on my 4women sites, but all in all it feels like a waste of my time.

Has ANYONE made decent money from dating sites?

Suggestion: break them down by state / province and major city. Or alternatively, area code might work too.

Or put a downloadable Excel file on your site with relevant information, and I'll crunch the numbers...

I've never had much luck with 'em either. But I signed up a few months ago with PussyCash, and, in May, had 3 milf dating site signups and 10 $1 per free signups with the ImLive cam program. That was over a hundred bucks, and the second month (out of, I believe, just 3 or 4 total) that I made enough for them to cut me a check. Don't know if it's the tour or what, but it seems to work for me.

Also, I had a problem with my account a couple of days ago--it was baffling and was about to really piss me off. I ICQ'd Adam (adamneve), and he had taken care of it by the next day. That impresses me almost more than the money.

So far, it's been a really good program for me--give it a try, it might work for you.

my sig's changed, so the site is lovercash.com. I can't say enough good things about them. They cover about 20 dating site niches and they convert very nicely. You can also never go wrong with the Hawg's - and Gina and Jen are excellent support.

Never use babes to promote dating sites. Go with half-decent to downright ugly bitches in realistic settings. Verisimiltude sells

Very true. Cannot agree enough. If you can't believe a guy who use the word 'verisimilitude', you can't believe anyone.

One of AFF's biggest mismarketing concepts was to advertise themselves with banners depicting them as a quasi-porn site or that all of there members are gorgeous babes. Mr. Average Pornsurfer sitting at the computer in his sweat pants with his gut rolling over the elastic wasteband sees the image of a hot babe and knows damned well that he can't tap that. If the same slug sees a pic of Ms. Ordinary, it all becomes realistic and decides that he should join and yes, he may actually get to bang away at that.

This month, (so far) I have noticed a bit of a slow down. But I think that's because I have a replaced a few of their banners with some people who are buying clicked banner traffic.

They have always paid me on time, every time and now it looks like they just started sending out payment 2 times a months.

Hi Bizzaro.. I started to promote AFF couple month ago.. And they seems to work good. Anyway, im interesting in knowing how much 1 free signup seems to be worth?? My guess would be somewhere between 1-2 dollars.

It all depends on your Ratio. The lower your free signups to uniques is, the higher your rate.

Im on the partnership program, therefore I was interested in knowing how many of the free members seems to convert into sales
