Question about editing freesites after they've been listed

I know for sure in tgpland that you cannot edit the page whatsoever or you'll be banned. Is this the case with freesites? Say I wanted to remove a recip and replace it with another because I did not get listed for example. Would this be a bad idea?

Just like in TGPLand, all rules are different - but for the most part, myself included, as long as you are not breaking my rules when you edit the site, you'll be fine

Thats right... I sometimes have to edit my site due to this and that , but no cheating at all. If you edit the site and implant popus and other shit your blasted.

I remember once I wanted to change the banners on my site listed on persian kitty I send her an email, what I was up to just to be safe ...

The other day I had to edit sponsor links on one of my free sites (quickly) because I discovered the sponsor was redirecting my click-thrus to another one of their sites, which was not advertised on my site and wasn't even the same damned niche. I simply changed the links to another site of the same sponsor, but to the right niche. Fuckers. (They've apologized) But if you are like me, which it appears you are, you don't like tampering with the finished and reviewed product.

I believe, as long as your change is reasonable, and doesn't cause the site to break the rules, then life should be fine. But then again, I don't run a link list.

Actually - Have at It!
I much prefer a site with Links going where they are supposed to.
Though by changing your site, you'll get added to a Watch list for me... no biggy at all.

(hint - if you can replace a 35k banner with Another 35k banner - )

Thanks guys, very helpful info for us newbs. I just got a rejection e-mail today and needed to make a small chage but was concerned about link list owners thinking I was doing something sneaky.
