New Mouse
I installed the mouse that initially led to me having to reinstall my entire PC.
Installed without a hitch. <shrug> It's actually pretty cool. The Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer has Forward and Back browser button on the upper left part. Makes viewing and navigating galleries way easier. It's more ergonomic too. The backside of my hand had started to ache after long days at the PC. If you haven't bought a new mouse in a while you may want to check out what's out there. |

I guess it is just me but I find the wireless mice too big and heavy.
I like the Kensington Iridio myself. |

I never liked mice. I bought several track balls. Then when glide pads came out I bought a ton of them. I love my glide pads. lol
I have wireless mice that came with the last couple puters I ordered. They have less than 6 seconds of wear on them. |goodnight |

Doing a lot of Photoshop, the mouse becomes your paintbrush. I also work most of the time with a dual display setup so I have a real lot of display area to move about in. I actually wear out all of my mice after about six months. I keep my mice on a real fast track but use tracking acceleration so when the mouse is moved slowly it has real accurate tracking, good for doing image work.
I actually find most of the mice too big and/or heavy which I think is kind of surprising since I have unusually large hands for a woman. My laptop has built-in Bluetooth so when I got it I was really hoping for a cordless mouse but after trying a few the I went back to a wired mouse. Apple makes the lightest wireless mouse, still kind of heavy, I love the shape that they are making them these days but can't stand a mouse without a right button and scroll wheel so noway I'm using that one. I do have a few Mac clients that use the Microsoft Wireless mouse and really like it. I usually plug my own mouse in to all of my client's computers. lol |

I really like Logitches' mice. I'm using MX500 for a while and can't say anything bad about that one

If weight bothers you I have a couple of finger mice in my failed junk drawer. They slip over one finger and have a trigger to squeeze for clicking and a trackball for manuvering with you thumb. Total weight is less than 4 oz. |

Guess I should mention that I also hate trackballs.
I like the mouse that I'm using now. It doesn't need a mouse pad and tracks well on my black formica tops. It is also very light, has a good shape and good drivers for setting up custom button commands, but cordless would be nice. |

I've used a trackball for over a year now and you'd have to kill me to take it away. Love it. I like being able to set it down on my desk top and not deal with mouse pads slipping around or picking up the mouse to re-center it on the pad. Sure I miss burning all of those extra calories using an old fashioned mouse, but I just drink light beer to compensate for not having to move my right arm all day. Plus, my right thumb is ready for any olympic agility test you send my way.

I use Logitech wireless mouse. I like the weight, whenever I use someone else's PC and they have normal wired mouse it feels strange.
I also have mousepad which has silicon wrist pad (if that is wrong pardon me english), same they use in breasts. Very good. I haven't had any wrist problems in 6 years and I sit on my fat ass some 10-12 hours almost every day in front of computer and use mouse a lot.

I have a Fellowes pad with gel wrist support too:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....&ref=03&loc=01 The new mouse is much better on my hand. It doesn't create such a curve as the old one. ![]() |
