Are 9+ recip tables catching on?

Have been told by 2 different people (one a senior dude on a board that starts with P and ends with D) that I have too many recips - 12.

"They" are sayin' 6-9.

Yet it seems people who hang out here think more than 9 recips is the way to go.

So, should I cut down to a 9 recip table?

OR...are LL owners getting used to seeing 12 recips and I'll be OK keeping 12?

9, 12 or what ever ya want but its all in how you lay it out really

For me, it really is how you lay them on.

But that's just me - you have to adjust your sites based on the rules of the sites you are submitting to

If I'm on a page with 8 other lists that I've never heard of I'm not going to be happy.

If I'm on a page with 5 bigger list I'm happy.

If I'm on a page with 9 small lists and 5 big lists both me and everyone else is usually happy.

The idea is to bring a bunch of traffic to the page so adjust things accordingly.

Personally I like to more but I'll accept just about anything as long as I feel that at least of few of the others will be sending a decent amount too.

Pretty much as long as the recips are reasonable, fair, even, etc, the layout is decent, and the page doesn't look crowded or whatever, you could get probably 25 or 30 without making it a real issue.

However, I will say that 9 is a very popular number right now based on the submits I see, trailed closely by 6.

Just do it, a free site is not a science and you will down your free site road get rejected by some LL from time to time, So then what do you do - You just build another..

And one guy will tell you this and one will tell you that - worrry about two people, the reviewer and the horny surfer..

I think it's pretty clean as I have it.

One thing I noticed...a couple of those sites have styled the recips they way they wanted.

That's a very easy way to get 16 recips per page.

I thought LL owners really wanted people to keep their specific look.

I looked at your Ebony links and the one with the NEW button doesn't exist (at least as I clicked on it- it 404's):

OK 'guys', I'm pretty well set to put the site in a proper directory and duplicate the site tomorrow, get the proper mix of recip tables and actually SUBMIT the damn thing.

I do prefer that you use the recip tables that I have on the site, but I don't hold it against you if you just use the text from them, as that is the main thing
